Property tax reduction in 2015, in Marbella
03 Sep 2014 | News and UpdatesOn September 3rd 2014, the Mayor of Marbella, Angeles Muñoz, announced a series of fiscal measures that will enter into force at the beginning of 2015 and which are a consequence, as she states, “of the ordering of municipal accounts carried out by this cabinet, thus allowing for budgetary stability.” The announcement was made when the taxpayers of Marbella had already paid the corresponding IBI for the year 2014.

Apart from this, more discounts will be granted to the official residents, which may reach a value of 20% for the properties with a rateable value of less than 100,000 Euros (of 15% for homes between 100,000 and 200,000 Euros, of 10% for homes between 200,000 and 300,000 Euros, and of 5% for properties that cost more than 300,000 Euros).
